Stripe and PayPal for instant card payments, plus a manual bank-transfer flow with board approval. Webhooks are signature-verified and members are activated on payment.
Restrict any page or post to paid members from a meta box that works in both the block and classic editors — or wrap inline content with a shortcode.
Every completed payment generates a PDF invoice with a paid stamp and a membership certificate, emailed automatically and re-downloadable any time.

How it works
The flow mirrors how a real society admits and renews members — with the board firmly in control.
A prospective member fills in the public form, picks a category and country, uploads a CV and gives GDPR consent. The fee is shown instantly.
Managers see pending applications with the CV attached, then approve, reject with a reason, or request more information — each sending the right email.
Approved applicants receive login details and pay by card, PayPal or bank transfer. Manual transfers are confirmed by the office.
Membership activates, the certificate and receipt go out, and the member gets a dashboard. Next January, renewal dues and reminders are generated automatically.
Fair by design
Unitas prices each membership from two things: the member's category and their country's income group, using the World Bank classification. International societies stop hand-calculating exceptions.
